Most of my recipes come from midnight at my house. It’s the time I am the most creative because I don’t want to leave me house! Look, the bra is already off, it ain’t going back on! I came up with this delicious cake that was so moist to boot!
Moist chocolate cake a la Cherise:
2 cups flour
2/3 cups cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup softened butter
1 3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup water
Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl and set aside.
Blend butter, sugar and vanilla until creamy. Then add the eggs, one at a time.
Slowly add the flour mixture while alternating with water.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 40-45 mins depending on your oven, just remember to keep an eye on it and use Ye ol toothpick trick.
Cream cheese frosting:
8 oz cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Blend until smooth. Once cake is completely cooled, than you can icing your cake.
