Crab Cakes from a Marylander

I was born and raised in Maryland. When I was younger, I crabbed off the pier at my Grandparents house on the bay. So naturally, I have a crab cake recipe! Old bay for life!

I chose to fry mine but you can definitely bake too for a healthier version. My opinion, though, is it’s crab cakes. Live on the edge and fry those fools!

Crab Cakes from a Marylander

Ingredients:

-1 lb crab meat

-2/3 sleeve of crushed Ritz

-2 tbsp Parmesan/Romano cheese

-3 tbsp mayo

-1 egg

-1 tsp Dijon mustard

-1 tsp old bay

-1/2 tsp siracha

-1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

-1 tsp lime juice

-1/4 c sautéed onions

Directions:

Mix everything but the crab meat and ritz. Then lightly fold in the crab meat so you don’t break up the meat. You can then fry or bake them!

I topped mine with Bang Bang Sauce and Coleslaw! But they’re FABULOUS on their own with a tiny dabble of mustard!
Here is my Bang Bang Sauce Recipe:

Ingredients:

-1/4 c mayo

-1 tbsp Thai sweet chili sauce

-1/2 tsp siracha (to taste)

Directions:
Mix together and put it on everything!
