Happy AFC Championship 2024 Weekend! Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens M&T Bank Stadium!

Kansas City Chiefs are in the Midwest and they’re known for eating chili with cinnamon rolls.

The east coast, specifically Baltimore is known for their Maryland Blue Crab!

So I figured, since the Chiefs will be in Baltimore this Sunday for the AFC Championship Football Game, why not make a dish to represent both NFL Football Teams!

I made Cinnamon Roll Chips to make a more football game day snack feel for the Midwest Kansas City Chiefs vibe.

They’re basically palmiers but I tried to make them a little thinner when rolling them out.

Maryland is known for their Blue Crab Soup, which is either red or white. I sort of had that feel but beefed it up with beans and jalapeños for a more crab white chili feel.

You can certainly dip the cinnamon roll chips into the Maryland blue crab white chili like I did, but I was thinking maybe with the leftovers I will just pour it over like creamy crab nachos!

I used almond milk and regular dairy in this recipe. It may seem confusing but I wanted the heavy cream but wanted to not only cut back on the amount of dairy cuz balance but also the almond milk gives the tiniest bit of nuttiness that compliments the dish well!

But obviously you can just use regular milk too! Also, feel free to add or skip ingredients to your liking as I know not everyone had the same taste buds!

Either way, I think you’ll LOVE this Maryland blue crab white chili and cinnamon roll chips recipe for chiefs and ravens football game day this Sunday!

It’s obvious who I am cheering on but what about you???
