This may be the EASIEST dessert recipe ever! It’s perfect for any time of year but since it’s Valentine’s Day, it is cute to bake for your love.

Sprinkle a bunch of granulated sugar on a large piece of parchment paper

Put 1 sheet of puff pastry on top. I use the frozen puff pastry from the grocery store, just make sure it’s been thawed in the fridge and roll it pat it a little bit so the sugar sticks to it

Then I used a blender to mix 14g freeze dried strawberries (about half of a 1 oz bag) and 1/2 cup granulated sugar together and sprinkle it over the puff pastry and spread out on the whole sheet

Then fold the sides in part way

Add more freeze dried strawberry sugar mixture on the edges you folded over

And then fold them all the way in so they meet in the middle

And then fold again to make the heart shape

I put my palmier log in the freezer for about 10 minutes before cutting, it just makes it easier to work with and gives a cleaner slice

Then bake them on a parchment lined baking sheet in a preheated 400°F oven for about 8 minutes, flip them over and finish for about 5 minutes until golden and crispy and let cool

You can eat them as is, they’re delish! But if you want to elevate them even more, melt some white chocolate and put it in a piping bag and do a drizzle action

Add some festive Valentine’s Day sprinkles before the chocolate hardens

Or some mini m&ms

Easy peasy!

My husband loved them so much, we’ve made them twice already!

If you make them, be sure to share your pictures with me on social media, let’s connect!
