Easy Christmas Brownies Dessert Idea

I love an easy dessert for the holidays and these brownies did NOT disappoint! You can really do them all trees or all want hats, you can just leave them plain, you can put them in a square or rectangle pan instead of circle and still cut them triangles or leave as is, the possibilities are endless!

I decided to try Ghiradelli’s dark chocolate chip brownie mix this time but any brownie mix will do. You could even just buy already made brownies if you’re really on a time crunch for a holiday party! These glass bowls come in a set, as do the pink measuring cups and the rose gold spoon. They’re all from Amazon, as will all of the product links in this blog post.

I just mixed up the brownies as it says on the box but I did put parchment paper on the bottom of my pan before spray with Pamela to really make sure my brownies didn’t stick since I wanted to serve these Christmas tree and Santa hat brownies on a platter.

You have to make sure the brownies are completely cool before cutting and decorating. You think Santa can fit in this fireplace wax warmer?

Then I just made a quick amaretti cream cheese icing using my Kitchen aid stand mixer. I used the same icing recipe from my Christmas light cupcakes I made earlier in the week.

You guys I’m seriously so addicted to this Amaretti di Saronno essence from Amazon. It’s so delicious and adds an extract complexity to simple desserts!

I used some gel food coloring from Target but I didn’t go too heavy on the color because I just don’t like eating that much of it but you can always go darker. Or you can just buy the premade icing in the colors you desire to make life easier. These piping bags and tips came in a set from Amazon for like $8 and I’ve used them for years, so highly recommend investing in those for even fun easy recipes like this one.

And then just start piping your Christmas trees and Santa hats on your brownies. I added mini peanut butter m&ms as my ornaments/lights on my Christmas trees but you can use sprinkles or keep them plain, really anything you want.

I wish I didn’t add the snowflake marshmallows to the Santa Hat brownies but we committed to it. They’re from Target and are cute but in my head they were a little bit smaller than reality. The kids love them, at least!

I added some shimmery sanding sugar for funsies to the Santa hats using these cute Gold espresso spoons.

And there you have it, easy Christmas brownies for the dessert table! I put them on this Turning cake stand covered in a tea towel but that was just because I had it, it’s not a requirement! The clear Christmas platter is from the dollar store years ago, I believe.

Be sure to watch my video for this recipe too! And please share your creations with me on social media, I love to see them! Ok love you bye!
