I wanted to make protein pancakes for Valentine’s Day and boy did these end up super delicious! They’re much healthier and plant based using banana as our binder.

I’ve been using Orgain Protein Powder for probably 7-8 years now and it is just my absolute favorite. Even though we’re not vegan anymore, I still prefer the taste the nutrition facts. I use the chocolate one for all my smoothies and the vanilla for baking. You can find it on Amazon, as will be all the other products mentioned in this blog post.

I also used Ellie’s Best beet root powder for the natural color of these protein pancakes. It adds extra antioxidants too, which is nice.

I start by mashing my banana using a fork. I love these metal bowls for baking recipes because they come in a set and I can pre measure all my ingredients and have them ready to go. The metal bowls are super lightweight which is everything.

I use plain unsweetened almond milk for these protein pancakes, but you can use whatever your heart desires. But I do love this beaker for measuring because baking is a science after all. It makes me feel smart.

I highly recommend using a Sifter for your dry ingredients to incorporate them better. This old school one works the best in my opinion.

I wouldn’t worry too much about extra lumps after whisking because the banana isn’t going to be completely smooth. Just make sure you whisk the dry ingredients through.

Ok so if you want to make these protein pancakes for Valentine’s Day so they are heart shaped pancakes, you NEED a heart mold. I tried to make heart shaped pancakes last year without one and it was quite difficult. Having these molds made it easy breezy. I’m going to use them to make heart eggs next!

I used a cookie scoop for my protein pancake batter and that made it really easy to keep the pancakes consistent sizes.

Once there are bubbles forming on top, it’s time to remove the molds and flip using a spatula.

You can use whatever you want to decorate your heart shaped protein pancakes using beet root powder. Some of the toppings we chose were not vegan, so if you’re making these plant baked egg free dairy free pancakes, be aware that your toppings will be different than mine.

I added a little melted chocolate to the top of my protein pancakes because it’s Valentine’s Day, after all! I love these cute gold espresso spoons.

Some sliced almonds, raspberries and target’s favorite day strawberry whipped cream made them do decedent! The heart sprinkles are from Amazon and come in a container with other heart shaped Valentine’s Day sprinkles.

I also added some maple syrup on top using my cute espresso glass because you can’t have pancakes without syrup.

Be sure to watch my video for more details and a nice relaxing meaningful self love vibe.

I have a lot more Valentine’s Day Recipes on this blog and my YouTube.

These heart shaped Strawberry cheese danishes are an easy elegant breakfast idea for Valentine’s Day.

These heart shaped cinnamon rolls are an even easier breakfast idea for Valentine’s Day.

I can’t tell you enough how much I love this strawberry whipped cream, though. I had it last year and it is seasonal so I keep buying 2 at a time because I don’t want to run out!

Thank you so much for being here!

Ok love you bye
