Tator Tot Hot Dish (Vegan, GF)

This dish is popular in Minnesota so I wanted to show the love.

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Beyond Hot Italian Vegan Sausage
  • 1 bag frozen mixed veg
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 cup oat milk
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1/2 tsp each salt, pepper and garlic powder
  • Tator tots


  • In a cast iron pan on medium, add the onion with a little olive oil
  • After a few minutes, add the beyond sausage and brown for a few minutes
  • Then add the frozen veg for a few minutes
  • Add the cornstarch and stir for a minute
  • Add the oat milk and vegetable oil and bring to a boil for about 5 minutes until it starts to thicken
  • Add the salt, pepper and garlic powder
  • Cover the top with frozen tator tots and bake in a 425°F oven for about 30 minutes
  • Let cool and enjoy!
