The only thing I love more than sausage balls is CHEDDAR BAY BISCUIT SAUSAGE BALLS!

Sorry I yelled, y’all, but, these are so freaking delicious, you’ll for sure thank me once you put my balls in your mouth!

A secret I use is shredding my own cheese. Store bought pre shredded cheese has like this coating on it that keeps that shreds from sticking. This helps keeps them loose but makes it impossible to melt all the way, especially the finely shredded kind, it just holds its shape, it’s weird.

And then I can make my own blend, my favorite being 2 parts extra sharp cheddar to 1 part pepperjack! Sometimes I get wild and do half and half! I keep it in a large ziploc or more environmentally friendly being these Glass Bowls w/ Locking Lids from Amazon. It’s also what I mixed the balls in.

Side note, I just got this Rotary Cheese Grater that I’ve been loving so much for my arthritis on Amazon! It works great on cheese but I’m going to try using it on some potatoes this weekend for a Boxty Recipe! I’ll report back!

Ok so mix together the entire package of the red lobster cheddar bay biscuit mix, and the seasoning packet that it comes with, 4oz softened cream cheese, 8oz shredded cheese (honestly I probably added more like 10-12oz because that’s what I had left) and one pound of ground breakfast sausage in the tube. I just use whatever is on sale, but you could also make vegetarian cheddar bay biscuit sausage balls by using impossible sausage.

Then I just use a little Cookie scoop from Amazon to portion them out and then roll the sausage balls with my hands.

Then bake them in a preheated 400°F oven for about 20 minutes until they golden and you can see the cheese melting and bubbling and the sausage browning! Oh man, they’re so good, just writing that has me drooling y’all!

I mean, come on! The cheddar bay biscuit of it all! The sausage ball of it all!

The CHEDDAR BAY BISCUIT SAUSAGE BALL OF IT ALL!

Baby I know I’m yelling but I am Telling ya…these are worth every calorie on a Sunday afternoon with the fam or a potluck party, or even a girl dinner vibe on a Wednesday!

You can dip them in anything but they’re delicious on their own! This last time we dipped them in bbq sauce we had from mission bbq and that was ON POINT! You could also make a melted butter, garlic and parsley topping to brush on them after they come out of the oven to shine them up and give them even more flavor. The balls are very versatile!

Definitely share with me on Social media when you make these cheddar bay biscuit sausage balls! I wanna know what you think and what you dipped them in!

Also stay tuned for St. Patrick’s Day recipes like this Vegetarian Guinness & Sausage Cottage Pie! I use my fave Organic Mushroom Extract Powder from Ellie’s Best on Amazon to bring umami flavor since I don’t use beef broth and I don’t like the texture of mushrooms!

Ok love you bye
