The Viral Crispy Onion Ring Chips Recipe (w/ dipping sauce)

You guys! I tried the viral crispy onion ring chip recipe by Stella Drivas! I made my own dipping sauce for the onion ring chips too!

First you want to mandoline your onions. I did these on level 3. Be careful of your phalanges!

This pink cutting board and all the other products used for this onion ring chip recipe is from Amazon! Including the adorable artificial flower pot decor and flameless tea light candle.

Make sure to use parchment paper! Then add some shredded Parmesan cheese to the bottom and layer your onions on top.

Then you add seasonings on top. I absolutely adore this organic mushroom powder by Ellie’s Best! I put some in an old spice container so I can sprinkle it all over my onions, alone with my other seasonings.

And then you bake for 18 mins in a preheated 400°F oven. Let them cool before consuming, though, so the cheese has a chance to crisp from the oven. I make the onion ring chip dipping sauce while my crispy onion ring chips are baking.

I use the mushroom powder in the dipping sauce recipe too.

I also add some light mayo, some 50% less sodium and less sugar ketchup, malt vinegar, the mushroom powder, dried chives and my favorite hot sauce.

I like the Hot Ones Garlic Fresno hot sauce because it’s not that spicy, it’s on the lower end, it has great flavor and not too much sodium. It compliments the mushroom powder by Ellie’s Best, too.

And then you just mix the dipping sauce. I love using these white ramekins for literally everything from mixing stuff, prepping ingredients, eating cereal, heating up pasta in the air fryer. The gold spoon comes in a set which compliments them nicely. I love the shape of the spoon, it’s very good for neurodivergence.

See why you use the parchment paper? Comes right off! Can’t you just hear the knife scraping against the crispy cheese under these delicious onions?

I don’t know that I would just eat these by themselves all the time because even though they’re gluten free and low carb, it’s a lot of fat and sodium. What I did do though, that was amazing, is I use them on a chicken sandwich I made on toast for dinner. Just some rotisserie chicken, and then these onion rings chips instead of just cheese and then the rest of my toppings. We also used leftovers for breakfast sandwiches on English muffins. 10/10 would recommend eating them on sandwiches.

Ok love you bye
