Vegan Caesar Dressing

Traditional Caesar Dressing contains anchovies, so it’s not vegetarian or vegan. It also usually contains parmesan cheese which is made with rennet so it’s not vegetarian or vegan either. Just brand used to have a legit tasting caesar dressing but who knows what the deal is with them because I haven’t seen them anywhere and now there’s all sorts of speculation of what’s going on. SO. Let’s make our own!

I’m blown, you guys…BLOWN!!! It’s so freaking good, I can’t even explain it. Like, how’s that taste like the traditional kind?! Mad scientist over here!

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup vegan mayo
  • 1/2 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 and 1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tsp capers
  • 1 and 1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup vegan parmesan (I used Follow Your Heart but you can certainly do like 3 tbsp nutritional yeast instead if you prefer)

Directions:

  1. Put everything into a blender and blend. Or you can put it all in a jug and use an immersion blender.
  2. Enjoy!

Wow! This dressing was so good. I used homemade cashew mayo, nutritional yeast for the parm and raw almond butter in place of oil. Flavors were spot on. This will be going on my regulars list. Thank you!!
