Pumpkin Spice Latte Syrup Recipe (Zero Sugar)

It’s never too early to start Pumpkin Spice Latte Season! I wanted to make a homemade version of the classic pumpkin spice latte syrup but less calories and sugar.

You can certainly just replace the Brown Sugar Splenda with regular brown sugar for the same result. The links in the this recipe are amazon (affiliate).

This pumpkin spice latte syrup is super easy to make on a burner.

This pumpkin spice latte syrup fits in about one and a half of these squeeze bottles. I love them for all my homemade condiments.

Splenda Magic Baker Brown Sugar is the best 1-to-1 brown sugar replacement on the market. I use it all the time for baking.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pumpkin purée
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Stir all ingredients in a sauce pan and simmer for 10-15 minutes and then let cool
  2. Optional step is to strain using Ellie’s best nut milk bags to get rid of the fibrous bits, but I didn’t bother and I loved it just the same
  3. Store in air tight container

Then to make a pumpkin spice latte, just add it to a Iced coffee cup with your favorite milk

Froth

Add espresso (decaf for me!)

Ice

I’ve made this with pumpkin spice cold foam on top for a completely zero sugar pumpkin spice latte and I’ve also made this pumpkin spice latte with a marshmallow cream cold foam. I had leftover marshmallow fluff and it was a fun idea, but of course that has sugar so choose your own adventure.

Either add marshmallow fluff or your pumpkin spice syrup

Then add some half & half or heavy cream with a splash of milk and froth to layer on top.

Add a dash of pumpkin spice on top before your lid. I’ve also skipped the cold foam on the pumpkin spice latte and used either the favorite day marshmallow whipped cream or pumpkin spice whipped cream from Target.

The pumpkin spice syrup is also delicious and a pumpkin spice sauce mixed into vanilla ice cream with some marshmallow whipped cream and graham cracker crumbs for a pumpkin spice sundae. So yum!
