
My future MIL loves strawberries! Everything strawberry! I got her an antique pie plate with a strawberry pie recipe on it. This weekend I decided it would be the perfect time to try this pie and see if it’s delicious!

At first glance, I though to myself, oh easy peasy lemon squeezy…
No. Difficult difficult lemon difficult 🤪
I’m just joking, it wasn’t as bad as a technical in the great British bake off but it was a little loose of a recipe so I was a bit nervous it wasn’t going to set properly.

Turns out, it was actually a pretty simple and easy recipe that was perfect for a Memorial Day cookout with the fam jam! Pun intended cuz I’m a punny lady, ok I stop now.


I used sugar free cool whip which kind of seems like why cuz it’s so freaking sweet anyways. But like hard reduction? I dunno but I’d be curious to try using Splenda or maple syrup or honey or something in place of the sugar and see what happens. Let me know if I should try a few different versions of this recipe!


This does look easy, I’m going to give it a try. June is strawberry season here in Canada 🙂
